Roldana petasitis, also known as California-geranium, is a species in the Asteraceae family. Previously classified in the genus Senecio, it is native to Central America and has a wide distribution, including the Azores, Canary Islands, and various other locations such as ZA, IT, PT, MU, ES, AU, NZ, Lord Howe Island, FR, SV, HN, and GT.

Description

Roldana petasitis is a member of the genus Roldana within the Asteraceae family. It was reclassified from the genus Senecio. The species is native to Central America and has been recorded in several regions, including the Azores, Canary Islands, and other locations such as ZA, IT, PT, MU, ES, AU, NZ, Lord Howe Island, FR, SV, HN, and GT. First described in 1974, it is known by the common name California-geranium.
