Fraxinus dipetala, known as California ash, is a species of ash native to southwestern North America. It is found in northwestern Arizona, California, southern Nevada, and Utah in the United States, as well as in northern Baja California, Mexico. The species grows at elevations between 100 and 1,300 meters.

Description

Fraxinus dipetala belongs to the genus Fraxinus in the family Oleaceae. It was first described in 1839 by Hook. & Arn. The species is commonly called California ash and is distributed across the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is adapted to a range of habitats within its native region.
