Banksia anatona, known as Cactus Dryandra, is a flowering plant in the Proteaceae family, endemic to Western Australia. It is a tall, spindly shrub distinguished by its unusually large fruiting follicles. The species is critically endangered and is only known from a single location. It is at risk of extinction due to dieback disease.

Description

Banksia anatona (A.S.George) A.R.Mast & K.R.Thiele is a member of the Proteaceae family and is native to Western Australia. This tall, spindly shrub is characterized by its large fruiting follicles. It is classified as Critically Endangered under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. The species is known only from one site, which is threatened by dieback disease. The plant was first described in 2007.
