Burmannia disticha is a plant species native to South and Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Guinea. It is commonly found in freshwater habitats such as swamps, boggy areas, and on wet rocks.

Description

Burmannia disticha (L.) is a member of the Burmanniaceae family. It is distributed across Australasian, Oriental (Indomalaya), and Global regions, including Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, Hainan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, New South Wales, Queensland, Sri Lanka, Sulawesi, Sumatera, and Thailand. This species typically inhabits freshwater systems and thrives in swamps, boggy areas, and on wet rocks. The plant was first described in 1753.
