Description
Burmannia dasyantha belongs to the Burmanniaceae family and is found in the Amazonian regions of Colombia and Venezuela. Its distribution includes the Reserva Nacional Natural Puinawai and Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de Chiribiquete, as well as the departments of Amazonas, Caquetá, Chocó, Guainía, and Vaupés in Colombia. The species was first described in 1823 by Mart.
