Bunchosia nitida (Jacq.) DC. is a species in the Malpighiaceae family, native to the Distrito Regional de Manejo Integrado (DRMI) Laguna de Sonso in the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. It is associated with the Magdalena - Cauca macrobasin and the Humedal del alto río Cauca, Yopal | Manizales waterbody. The species was first described in 1811.

Description

Bunchosia nitida is a member of the Malpighiaceae, a family of flowering plants commonly known as the Malpighia family. This species is specifically documented in the DRMI Laguna de Sonso region, located in the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga within the Valle del Cauca department of Colombia. The area is part of the Magdalena - Cauca macrobasin and is associated with the Humedal del alto río Cauca, Yopal | Manizales. The scientific name was published in 1811, with the original description attributed to (Jacq.) DC.
