It is also found in regions such as Italy, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Liechtenstein, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. Known by other common names such as Russian-vine, Chinese fleecevine, mile-a-minute, and silver lace vine, this plant has spread beyond its native range and is now growing wild in multiple introduced locations.
