Corispermum hyssopifolium is a species in the genus Corispermum, belonging to the family Chenopodiaceae. It is an annual plant found in dunes and sandy areas along rivers in central and western Europe and western North America. The species was described by L. in 1753.

Description

Corispermum hyssopifolium is an annual plant that grows between 10 and 60 centimeters in height. It blooms in July and August. The plant's fruits have narrow wings, with the nontransparent edge widening at the top and bearing spikes on a broad base. The transparent portion of the wing is narrow. The top stipules are ovate with a pointed apex. It is distributed in regions such as RU, BY, PL, LV, NO, JP, LT, the conterminous 48 United States, Altay, the Baltic States, Belarus, Central European Rus, Colorado, Czechoslovakia, East European Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Krym. The species was historically used for its edible seeds in prehistoric times.
