Buddleja crotonoides is a shrub native to regions from California to Nicaragua, growing at elevations of 2,000–2,500 m in oak woods and on scree. It is associated with Arbutus xalapiensis, Pinus sp., and Crataegus mexicana. The species was first described by A. Gray in 1847.

Description

Buddleja crotonoides is a member of the Scrophulariaceae family and is found in several Central and North American countries, including Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and Venezuela. It typically inhabits higher elevation environments, such as oak woodlands and rocky slopes. The species was formally named and described by Asa Gray in 1847.
