Brunia fragarioides is a shrub species in the family Bruniaceae, native to the Western Cape region. It is part of the fynbos vegetation and was first described in 1798 by Willd.

Brunia fragarioides is a member of the genus Brunia and is endemic to the Western Cape. It grows as part of the fynbos biome, a unique and diverse ecosystem found in the region. The species was formally described in 1798 by the botanist Willd.
