It is distributed across regions including HR, Belgium, Walloon Region, IT, DK, KG, BY, SE, EE, LV, NO, LT, Altay, Amur, Austria, Baltic States, Belarus, Bulgaria, Buryatiya, and Central European Rus. Description

The name Nonea pulla (L.) DC. has a complicated history. The original name Lycopsis pulla L. (1759) was based on a non-type collection by Loefling, leading to its illegitimacy. The species widely recognized as Nonea pulla is found in Central and Eastern Europe but not in Spain. A conservation proposal may be required to maintain the traditional application of the name. This highlights the need for clarification in botanical nomenclature to ensure consistent usage.
