Phyllostachys nidularia is a bamboo species native to several Chinese provinces, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Yunnan, and Zhejiang. It grows at elevations below 1300 meters and is part of the Poaceae family.

Description

Phyllostachys nidularia, described by Munro in 1876, is a member of the bamboo genus Phyllostachys within the grass family Poaceae. It is distributed across central and southeastern China, including the provinces of Guangdong, Guangxi, Henan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Yunnan, and Zhejiang. This species is commonly known as broom bamboo in English and is found in lowland areas below 1300 meters elevation.
