Bromelia humilis, known as the dwarf bromelia, is a plant species in the Bromeliaceae family. It is native to Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Netherlands Antilles.

Description

Bromelia humilis, a member of the Bromeliaceae family, is a plant species found in Aruba, the Netherlands Antilles, Trinidad and Tobago, the Venezuelan Antilles, and Venezuela. It was first described in 1762 by Carl Sigismund Kunth under the authorship Jacq. This species is part of the genus Bromelia and is commonly referred to as the dwarf bromelia. Its distribution is primarily in the Caribbean and northern South America.
