Oxalis latifolia is a flowering plant species in the Oxalidaceae family, commonly known as broadleaf wood-sorrel. It is native to regions including Mexico, Central and South America, and parts of the Iberian Peninsula. The species is also found in the Azores, Madeira, and other locations across Europe and beyond.

Description

Oxalis latifolia, described by Kunth in 1822, is a member of the Oxalidaceae family. It is native to areas such as Antioquia, Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Nariño, Quindío, and Valle del Cauca in South America, as well as Portugal and parts of Mexico. It has also been recorded in the Azores, Madeira, and other regions including Belgium, Flemish Region, and ZA. The species is distributed across various subregions, including the Cordillera occidental, Cordillera central, and Enclaves subxerofíticos. It is known by the common name broadleaf wood-sorrel and has spread beyond its native range to other parts of the world.
