Broad-Leaved Water-Milfoil

Myriophyllum heterophyllum is a member of the genus Myriophyllum in the family Haloragaceae. It is native to North America and was first described in 1803 by André Michaux. The species is found in regions such as British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and extends to the Nearctic and Palaearctic regions. It is also present in parts of Europe, including Belgium, the Flemish Region, Walloon Region, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Spain, and the United States, particularly in Vermont.
