Description

Philadelphus pubescens is a member of the Hydrangeaceae family and is commonly referred to as Broad-leaved Mock-orange. It is found in regions such as Ontario, France, Belgium, and the eastern United States. The plant is a perennial shrub that can reach heights of up to 20 feet. Its flowers are white and it was first described in 1820 by Loisel.
