Galeopsis ladanum L. is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is commonly called Broad-Leaved Hemp-Nettle. It is found in various regions, including Newfoundland, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Quebec, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, along with countries such as Norway, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Russia, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. The species was first published in 1753.
