Chaerophyllum aromaticum L., a member of the Apiaceae family, is commonly known as Broad-leaved Chervil. It is native to regions including Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and various parts of Europe. The species was first published in 1753 by Linnaeus.

Description

Chaerophyllum aromaticum is a species within the genus Chaerophyllum. Its distribution spans across several European countries, including NO, DK, SE, Albania, Austria, the Baltic States, Belarus, Central European Russia, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, North European Russia, Northwest European Russia, and Poland. The typification of this species was addressed in a correction published in Taxon 55: 560 (2006), following an initial designation by Watson in Jarvis & al. (Taxon 55: 211. 2006).
