Aliciella latifolia, known as broad-leaf gilia, is an annual plant in the Polemoniaceae family. It is native to the deserts of the southwestern United States, including Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah, as well as the Mexico Northwest region.

Description

Aliciella latifolia is an annual species within the Polemoniaceae family, commonly referred to as broad-leaf gilia. It is characterized by its broad leaves and is known to emit a foul odor. The plant is native to desert regions in the southwestern United States, particularly in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah, as well as parts of Mexico's Northwest. It was first described in 1998 by J.M. Porter, based on earlier work by S. Watson.
