Ephedra torreyana is a species of Ephedra native to the deserts and scrublands of the Southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is found in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Commonly known as Brigham-tea or Torrey's Mormon tea, it was first described in 1879 by S. Watson.
