Picea breweriana, known as Brewer spruce, is a spruce species native to western North America. It is one of the rarest spruce species on the continent. The name honors the botanist William Henry Brewer.

Description

Picea breweriana is a species in the genus Picea of the family Pinaceae. It is found in regions including California and Oregon, as well as other global locations. First described in 1885 by S. Watson, it is also known by the common names Brewer's spruce, Brewer's weeping spruce, and weeping spruce. The species is notable for its rarity and is named after the American botanist William Henry Brewer.
