Myriophyllum aquaticum is a flowering plant in the family Haloragaceae, commonly known as Brazilian water-milfoil or parrot's-feather. It is a vascular dicot native to the Neotropical region and has been reported in various locations including British Columbia, Ontario, Portugal, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and others. It was first published in 1973.
Description
Myriophyllum aquaticum is a member of the genus Myriophyllum and is widely distributed across several regions, including BR, Parque Nacional Natural Sumapaz, TW, ZA, LK, IE, NP, and others. It is known by the common names Brazilian water-milfoil and parrot feather watermilfoil. This species is part of the Haloragaceae family and was first described by (Vell.) Verdc. in 1973.
