Pseudobombax grandiflorum (Cav.) A.Robyns is a species in the Malvaceae family, commonly known as the Brazilian shaving-brush-tree. It is native to Brazil, with a distribution covering the Northeast, Southeast, South, and West-Central regions. The species was formally published in 1963.

Description

Pseudobombax grandiflorum belongs to the genus Pseudobombax and is part of the Malvaceae family, a group of flowering plants. It is known by the common name Brazilian shaving-brush-tree in English and is native to various regions of Brazil. Its range includes the Northeast, Southeast, South, and West-Central parts of the country. The species was first described in 1963, following the original work by Cav. and later reclassified by A.Robyns.
