Erucastrum gallicum is a member of the Brassicaceae family, commonly known as Bracted Rocket. It is an annual or biennial plant with an upright or ascending growth habit and bright yellow flowers. It blooms from late spring through early autumn, with stems reaching 30 to 60 centimeters in length. Native to Eurasia, it has been introduced to many regions, including North America, where it is found in areas such as Labrador, Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, and other Canadian provinces and territories, as well as in parts of Europe.

Description

Erucastrum gallicum (Willd.) O.E.Schulz, known as Bracted Rocket, is a low-growing plant in the Brassicaceae family. It is characterized by its erect or ascending stems and bright yellow flowers. The plant typically blooms from late spring through the summer into early autumn. It is native to Eurasia and has become naturalized in many regions, including much of North America and parts of Europe such as Belgium, Ireland, and Russia. The species was first described in 1916.
