Gaylussacia bigeloviana is a plant species in the Ericaceae family, native to the coastal plains of eastern Canada and the eastern United States. It is commonly known as bog huckleberry and is found in swamps, marshes, and acidic bogs, often growing alongside Sphagnum peatmosses.

Description

Gaylussacia bigeloviana (Fernald) Sorrie & Weakley is a member of the Ericaceae family and is distributed across regions such as Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and parts of the United States. It thrives in wetland habitats, including acidic bogs and marshes, and is associated with Sphagnum peatmosses. The species was formally published in 2007.
