Description

Boehmeria penduliflora is a member of the Urticaceae family, commonly known as the nettle family. This species is distributed across several regions including Reunion, Assam, Bangladesh, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, India, Laos, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, Réunion, Thailand, Tibet, and Vietnam. The species was formally described in 1982 by Wedd. ex D.G. Long. It is part of the genus Boehmeria, which includes various species found in tropical and subtropical regions.
