Boehmeria japonica is a flowering plant in the Urticaceae family, native to eastern Asia. It occurs in China (North-Central, South-Central, and Southeast regions), Japan, South Korea, the Kuril Islands, Manchuria, and Taiwan. The species was first described in 1867.

Description

This plant is part of the genus Boehmeria and is commonly found in the regions of eastern Asia. It is a member of the Urticaceae family, also known as the nettle family. Its distribution includes several areas of China, as well as Japan, Korea, and other nearby islands. The species was published in 1867 under the scientific name (L.f.) Miq.
