Dyschoriste oblongifolia, known as blue twinflower, is a member of the Acanthaceae family and is native to the southeastern United States. It is found in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Description

Dyschoriste oblongifolia (Michx.) Kuntze is a species in the Acanthaceae family, commonly referred to as blue twinflower. It is also known as oblongleaf snakeherb or twinflower. This plant is native to several southeastern U.S. states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Virginia. The species was first described in 1891.
