Blue tinsel lily

Calectasia cyanea is a plant species found only in the south-western region of Western Australia. It is part of the Dasypogonaceae family and is known by the common name blue tinsel lily. The species is critically endangered, with its entire known population confined to a single site within Torndirrup National Park. This plant is a perennial herb and is considered a unique part of the local flora.
