Phlox divaricata, known as Blue Phlox, is a species in the Polemoniaceae family, native to eastern North America. It is found in forests and fields across regions including Ontario, Quebec, and multiple U.S. states from Vermont to Florida and west to Minnesota and Kansas. The species was first described in 1753.

Description

Phlox divaricata is a flowering plant in the Polemoniaceae family, commonly called Blue Phlox. It is native to eastern North America, where it grows in forests and open fields. Its distribution spans from Ontario and Quebec in Canada to various U.S. states, including Vermont, Alabama, Arkansas, and Florida, as well as extending westward to Minnesota and Kansas. The species was first published in 1753.
