It was first published in 1753.
Description
Papaver dubium is found in regions such as Greenland, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Açores, Madeira, Portugal Continental, and several islands including Corvo, Faial, Flores, Graciosa, Pico, Santa Maria, São Jorge, São Miguel, and Terceira. Known for its long-headed appearance, it is also referred to as long-headed poppy. The species is recognized for its adaptability and has become naturalized beyond its native range.
