Blechnum arcuatum, known locally as quil-quil, is a fern native to Chile, ranging from the Ñuble River in the north to the Aysén Region, including adjacent areas of Argentina. It grows from sea level up to 1300 meters above sea level and is commonly found near water courses or in humid road cuts.

Description

Blechnum arcuatum is a species of fern in the family Blechnaceae, native to Chile and parts of Argentina. It is locally referred to as quil-quil and is typically associated with moist environments such as water courses or road cuts with high humidity. The species was first described in 1852 and is part of the genus Blechnum.
