Protea caespitosa is a flowering shrub that is native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa. It is a member of the Proteaceae family and is part of the Protea genus. This species is known by the common names Bishop Sugarbush and hottentot bishop sugarbush. The plant is only found growing in the wild in South Africa. It was first described and published in 1808 by the botanist Andrews.
