Biophytum zenkeri is a perennial herb in the Oxalidaceae family, native to several countries in central and western Africa, including Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Nigeria, and Zaïre. It was first described in 1909 by Guillaumin.

Description

This species grows up to 30 cm in height and forms dense clumps. Its leaves are arranged in a rosette or nearly so, and it produces yellow flowers. It is a perennial herb commonly found in rheophytic habitats.
