Billbergia eloiseae is a member of the Bromeliaceae family, commonly known as the bromeliad family. This species is part of the genus Billbergia, which includes a number of epiphytic and terrestrial plants native to the Neotropics. Billbergia eloiseae is known only from Colombia, where its distribution remains undocumented. The species was formally described in 1983 by botanists Read and L.B. Smith.
