Billbergia alfonsi-joannis is a bromeliad species in the genus Billbergia, native to southeastern Brazil, ranging from Espírito Santo to Santa Catarina. It was first described in 1952 by Reitz.

Billbergia alfonsi-joannis belongs to the Bromeliaceae family and is found in the southeastern and southern regions of Brazil. The species is endemic to this area, specifically from Espírito Santo to Santa Catarina. It was formally described and published in 1952 by the botanist Reitz.
