Bignonia costata is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to the Southeast region of Brazil. It was formally described in 2014 by L.G. Lohmann, based on earlier work by Bureau and K.Schum.

Description

Bignonia costata is a member of the Bignoniaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the bignonias or trumpet-vine family. The species is endemic to the Southeast region of Brazil. It was first documented by Bureau and K.Schum. and later formally published in 2014 by L.G. Lohmann. This species contributes to the biodiversity of the region and is part of the genus Bignonia, which includes various climbing and woody plants.
