Lycium berlandieri, known as Berlandier wolfberry, is a flowering plant in the Solanaceae family. It is native to the south-western United States and Mexico, occurring in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and several regions of Mexico.

Description

Lycium berlandieri, described in 1852 by Dunal, is a member of the nightshade family (Solanaceae). This species is found in the south-western United States, including Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, as well as in several regions of Mexico. It is commonly referred to as Berlandier wolfberry. The plant is part of the genus Lycium and is adapted to arid and semi-arid environments within its native range.
