Galax urceolata, known as beetleweed, is a plant species in the family Diapensiaceae. It is native to regions including DK, SE, and several U.S. states such as Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Description

Galax urceolata (Poir.) Brummitt is a member of the genus Galax and belongs to the Diapensiaceae family. It is commonly referred to as beetleweed in English. This species is distributed across parts of Europe and North America, including Denmark (DK), the southeastern region (SE), and various U.S. states. The scientific name was published in 1972.
