Serruria phylicoides, known as Bearded Spiderhead, is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. It is native to the Western Cape in South Africa and is part of the fynbos vegetation. The plant can grow up to 1.0 m tall and produces flowers from August to November.

Description

Serruria phylicoides is a flowering shrub found in the Western Cape region of South Africa. It is part of the fynbos ecosystem and is distributed in areas such as the Du Toits Peak, the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the Riviersonderend Mountains, and the Kleinrivier Mountains. The shrub reaches a height of 1.0 m and flowers between August and November. It is one of the species in the Proteaceae family and is known by the common name Bearded Spiderhead.
