Yucca rostrata, known as beaked yucca, is a tree-like species in the genus Yucca, native to Texas and parts of northern Mexico. It thrives in arid regions with low annual rainfall, typically in desert and semi-arid climates.

Description

Yucca rostrata is a member of the Asparagaceae family and is adapted to dry environments. Its natural range includes Texas, as well as the states of Chihuahua and Coahuila in Mexico. The species is commonly found in areas characterized by Bw (desert) and Bs (semi-arid) climates. First described in 1902, this yucca species is distinguished by its tree-like growth form and is well-suited to harsh, dry conditions.
