Description

Banksia cynaroides is a shrub species endemic to Western Australia. It is part of the genus Banksia within the Proteaceae family. The plant features crowded, linear, pinnatifid leaves and produces flowers that are white and dull golden yellow. Each flower head typically develops a few follicles. The species was first described in 2007 by A.R. Mast and K.R. Thiele, based on earlier work by C.A. Gardner.
