Yucca baccata, known as Banana Yucca, is a species of yucca native to the deserts of the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. It is a member of the Asparagaceae family and was first described in 1858 by Torr.

Description

Yucca baccata is a desert plant found in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and parts of Mexico. It is a hardy species adapted to arid environments and is part of the Yucca genus. The plant is known for its banana-like appearance and is commonly referred to as Banana Yucca in English.
