Description

Bacopa aquatica belongs to the genus Bacopa and is part of the Plantaginaceae family, commonly known as the plantain family. This species is distributed across Brazil (Northeast, North, Southeast, and West-Central regions), as well as in Bolivia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad-Tobago, and Venezuela. The species was first published in 1775 by the botanist Aubl.
