Cyperus squarrosus L., commonly known as Awned Cyperus, is a species of sedge in the Cyperaceae family. It is widely distributed across multiple biogeographic regions, including the Nearctic, Neotropical, Afrotropical, Australasian, and Oriental (Indomalaya) regions, as well as in Italy and parts of the United States. This species was first described in 1756.
Description
