Corallorhiza odontorhiza, known as autumn coralroot, is a species of orchid found in eastern and central United States, as well as parts of Mexico, Central America, and Canada. It grows in forested areas at elevations up to 2800 m.

Description

Corallorhiza odontorhiza (Willd.) Nutt. is a member of the Orchidaceae family and is native to North America. Its distribution includes regions such as Vermont, Alabama, Arkansas, and others across the United States, as well as El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. This species was first described in 1818 and is commonly referred to as autumn coralroot or small-flowered coral-root. It is typically found in forested habitats.
