Chrysopogon filipes (Benth.) Reeder, known as Australian vetiver, is a grass species in the Poaceae family. It is native to New Guinea, New South Wales, Northern Territory, and Queensland. The species was formally described in 1948.

Description

Chrysopogon filipes is a member of the grass family Poaceae and is one of the species within the Chrysopogon genus. It is commonly referred to as Australian vetiver. This grass is naturally distributed across New Guinea and parts of Australia, including New South Wales, Northern Territory, and Queensland. The scientific name was published in 1948, with the basionym attributed to Benth. and the current authorship to Reeder.
