Zygogynum semecarpoides (F.Muell.) Vink is a species in the Winteraceae family, known as the Australian pepper tree. It is endemic to Queensland, Australia. While accepted by Plants of the World Online, it is not recognized in Australia, where it is known by the earlier name Bubbia semecarpoides.

Description

Zygogynum semecarpoides, or Australian pepper tree, is a member of the Winteraceae family. It is native to Queensland and is recognized in international databases but not in Australian botanical records. The name Bubbia semecarpoides is used in Australian herbaria and publications such as Flora of Australia and Australian Tropical Rainforest Plants. The species was published in 1985.
