Attalea spectabilis, described by Mart., is a species in the Arecaceae family, native to northern Brazil. It was first published in 1826.

Description

Attalea spectabilis is a palm species belonging to the Arecaceae family. It is native to the northern regions of Brazil. This species was first scientifically described in 1826 by Mart. The genus Attalea includes several palm species found primarily in the Neotropics. As part of the Arecaceae, or palm family, A. spectabilis shares characteristics common to palms, such as a single stem and large, compound leaves. Its distribution is limited to the BR region, specifically in the northern part of Brazil.
