Attalea oleifera is a palm tree in the Arecaceae family, growing up to 25 meters tall. It is native to eastern Brazil, from Paraíba to northern Espírito Santo, where it is found in Cerrado savanna and seasonally-dry semi-deciduous Atlantic Forest.

Description

Attalea oleifera, described by Barb.Rodr. in 1881, is a member of the Arecaceae family. This species is endemic to eastern Brazil, specifically in the regions of Paraíba and northern Espírito Santo. It thrives in the Cerrado savanna and seasonally-dry semi-deciduous Atlantic Forest. The palm can reach heights of up to 25 meters and is part of the genus Attalea.
